If you're an APCian, READ THIS 'coz it's URGENT!

Motherhood is not a curse. Fuck you. • Wonder Woman

http://wonderwoman45.tumblr.com/post/686692125/motherhood-is-not-a-curse-fuck-you?ref=nf
Okay, I got it. Did I say it in general? Apparently, this post of hers was meant for me. How was I pathetic, hmm? In what way was I pathetic? You're talking about the past, girl. You are very blessed. I wouldn't be ashamed to admit that yet you have forgotten one very important thing: HUMILITY.

What is more worse than being pathetic? There are a list of things I'm proud to say that I'm not. You're the only acquaintance I've met who has ever called me "pathetic". Maybe you're describing YOURSELF? I bet it didn't even cross your mind, huh. Why do I even bother to help someone who is BEYOND help; someone with the LIKES of YOU?

Oh, you little spawn of the black angel: go and crawl back to Sheol!
When you're ready to confront me face-to-face, name the place, date and time.

I won't back down to your challenge. You should know that VERY WELL by now. Tsk tsk....

To answer your question, "what can I be proud of?" You were gone for so long so how do you expect to say you were ever my friend? That goes to show you that we USED to be friends. I never thought the day would come that I'd regret befriending you. Right from the start, I knew you were trouble but I still gave you a chance!

Life was so much more vibrant the moment you and your family left for Bangkok. If I were you, go back to Thailand and live with..... whose that friend of yours who still sleeps with a night light? Oh yes, her name's KP, right? Let me also ask you this: what kind of guys did you attract or did you have to resort to seduction to get them to notice you? Did you bribe your friends with shopping trips and Starbucks treats which is why they are forever indebted to you?

Just so you know, even if friends were possible to be bought by money, in the end they will come to their senses just as I have come to mine. Who did you fool? Did you ever stop to think if people will believe you and take your words as it is? The moment you started to insult me with your brutality was the very same instance I started to despise you!

Didn't you mention in an earlier Tumblr post, which I will assume is also addressed to me, that I am not worth arguing with? You just wasted your precious time reacting to a blog post that doesn't concern you!

By the way, this fight is ours. IT'S PERSONAL. Do not even entertain the thought of dragging my mother into this. I'll make sure I can shut you up for good; that you won't be able to say a swear word with that foul mouth you own and use to kiss your loved ones.

Of Marriages and Babies

Over dinner tonight, Mum, Dad & Mama Jean confessed that they wanted to have great-grandkids and grandkids from me. I was so aghast. Who said I longed to have kids and start my own family? I'm very much contented with the present state of my relationship. How come no one ever asked my elder female cousins to start accepting marriage proposals and produce their own offspring?

Dad even wished that if I were to have my own children, they should be as headstrong and stubborn as Bea, Gelo, and I am. Naturally, to me it didn't sound humorous. It was more like he was cursing me to a lifetime of motherhood with children I wouldn't want to raise as my own.

I haven't found the right guy. I may have met him already but he may not want to pursue me.
Lord, do I really need a man and my own little one to make life more bearable? Is that what it takes to be joyful and prosper in this world?

I don't need a baby. Even if the thought excited me when I was younger, as you grow older you find out it isn't as easy as it looks. You need a stable job to have all the necessities to raise a child. There are certain qualifications a couple must meet before God provides them with a child of their own.

I believe I won't make a suitable mother. I barely tend to myself; how can I possibly tend to a newborn baby? It would be better to adopt a pure-bred puppy than engage in pre-marital sex just to satisfy people's expectations of being a godmother, aunt or grandparent.

Detractors: you're right. I have a baby. His name is Doug and he's a 6-month old tricolor shih tzu puppy. No I don't have a dog for a husband and I didn't mate with one to produce this cute puppy which I take care of daily.

SERIOUSLY. DO I EVEN NEED TO EXPLAIN MYSELF TO YOU ALL?

You'll always find something nasty about those you dislike even whe they insist that there's no truth to it. Sooner or later, it will be Judgment Day for humanity and life as we know it.
YOU'RE ALL DESPICABLE. I BET SATAN DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH ROOM IN HELL FOR ALL OF YOU.

The Angst Has Returned and Quickly Fades

These are the things I love. My chosen profession isn't far from that of an artist or a telemarketer.
If it is your 1st time to read my blog or any of the silliness I post in here then I do suggest proceed w/ caution.
My favorite pasttime. :) Photography. Something I never thought my sister and I would eventually be good at.

Practicing Energy Conservation

Recently, the Philippines has been experiencing rotational blackouts lasting up to eight hours. With the onset of the El Nino phenomenon, Filipinos are made to suffer the hottest summer ever.

MERALCO announces weekly in their website the schedule of rotating blackouts and which areas of a certain region will be affected. According to them, the power shortage is caused by the shutdown of power plants. Thus, this has reduced the electricity being produced and supplied for the consumption of MERALCO customers.

Last March 27, 2010, we were all invited to participate in Earth Hour. Households and business establishments were encouraged to switch off all electrical appliances and say YES to Mother Earth by using candles and rechargeable lamps. This was from 8:30-9:30 pm. Participants of this major annual event numbered in the thousands in Manila alone.

Here are more more means and ways to conserve energy this summer season:

  1. Use the stairs when going up and down 3 floors.
  2. Use a bike or public transportation when travelling shorter distances than you usually do.
  3. Take advantage of the availability of sunlight. Practice daylight saving time.
These small acts if done and practiced by every human regularly may help us all cope with our energy crisis and power shortage.

Movie Review: Avatar

Man vs. Man. Man vs. Nature. Two of the most common conflicts mankind encounters on a daily basis is beautifully depicted in this tale of survival; a battle between marines and the Ocinaya people.
If you're familiar with Pocahontas's tale of heroism and bravery, you'd remember how her tribe fought valiantly against Ratcliffe and the European colonizers who came to America to seek gold and invade newfound territories. Avatar's plot is very much similar to that.
What awaits you in this brilliant masterpiece are mythical creatures; a parallel universe lavish with natural resources that fondly reminds one of our planet Earth. The movie premiere is timely as 130 nations across the globe gathers to unite for a common goal: combat climate change at the UNCCC (United Nations' Climate Change Conference).
As a koala campaigner of the AKF (Australian Koala Foundation), Im very much aware that the koala is in dire need of protection from possible extinction. Humans aren't the only species that needs salvation. God created animals
and plants; therefore wh should we leave them out of our plants to save the environment? I can go as far as to enumerate the countless times we chose our race over the rest of Nature. Think about the consequences of such ungodly acts. Can we survive without trees? Would the world be as interesting as it once were if all the phylun=m and genus of flora and fauna disappear within seconds before our very eyes?
After viewing this film, I had this strong yearning to get on a plane to Denmark and ask the nations' leaders and representatives if they are truly ready to give Nature their utmost devotion and attention. special mention: Minister Garrett of Australia! I can't recall the vast number of times I e-mailed you to request you for your consideration in preserving your nation's icon: the Australian koala. President Arroyo! Please strictly implement proper waste segregation nationwide. Secretary Lito Atienza of DENR (Department for Environmental and Natural Resources), instead of orderig your mnions and supporters to taer down the yellow streamers bearing the faces of Ninoy and Cory, focus on your job as an advocate of the environment. Promote the project of the Smokey Mountain residents where they turn recyclable materials into fashionable accessories and jewelry. Lord knows that we don't deserve to live long in this world hemade for us but still He gives ample time to learn from our mistakes and finally take our call to action and get a move on.
