Life is just a game

It burns you like a torching flame,

puts you to shame,

makes you take the blame.

You will meet people you never knew

They'll befriend you,

use you,

betray you.

What is this all leading to?

What will the results be?

Who will teach me how to treat you

just and rightfully?

Will Not Fall Again

I'm tired of you cheating on me

Always the one hurt is "me"

You think that I don't know your plans

I've had enough of your demands.

Who said: "I'll be true",

and who vowed, "'Til time is through"?

You, wasn't it you?

Do not lie for I know the truth.

I've had regrets and mistakes

Yet, none to what you did

Learned to distinguish real from fake

I know which of these you are.

I will learn to let go

I will learn not to show

These feelings remain hidden

For I will not fall again.
